This is the Cura format you already know, and which, for now, takes shape as Cura BH, Cura Amazônia, and Cura Macro. Here, cities become both stage and screen. With our sharp curatorial skills, we promote memorable encounters, reinterpreting spaces and narratives.

Here, we say that this is our parent brand, the origin, heart, and root of everything. Here, we communicate about Cura as a whole, and with a broader perspective, always embracing topics that make sense and keeping in mind public art and its movements.

Our focus is on research, impact, and social transformation through art, memory, and the Sustainable Development Goals.

ABOUT US

CURA is a Brazilian Public Art movement, born in Belo Horizonte and created by women in 2017. We are also a platform that operates through diverse artistic languages, at the intersection of culture, city and society, in pursuit of a radical democratization of art.

We started as a festival, but we are much more: a living, vibrant ecosystem that extends far beyond the facades and days of the event. We are public art in motion.

Cura is not just a festival.
It's a public art movement.
It's public art in motion.

WHO DOES IT

Behind it all, Jana and Pri, founders of the CURA platform, creative directors and curators of the projects, dream and create CURA — always alongside a whole bunch of other awesome people.
