Achieving Growth

CURA BH
CURA emerged from the cultural melting pot that marked the 2010s in Belo Horizonte. A movement that continues to call for the occupation of the streets in an artistic and political way. We are daughters of Praia da Estação, of the revival of street Carnival, of art that engages in the struggle for diversity, equity, and dignity—of people and cities. We question a possible way of living in large urban centers, where there can be the free expression of counter-hegemonic cultures and their democratic and free enjoyment.
Going to Cura, observing and feeling our works, is to live a magical bodily experience. We question a possible way of living in large urban centers, where there can be the free expression of counter-hegemonic cultures and their democratic and free enjoyment.
